| Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceuticals hired High Throughput Biology Inc. on WGA analysis |
| September 6, 2008 |
| |
Johnson and Johnson Pharmaceuticals has retained the service from High Throughput Biology Inc. to conduct customized association analysis on genotype data collected in a whole-genome association (WGA) study. In addition to perform conventional data validation and analysis, High Throughput Biology Inc. will employ its Pattern Examiner algorithm to detect potential gene-gene interactions using WGA data. |

| High Throughput Biology Inc. applies Pattern Examiner on GAW16 data |
| May 2, 2008 |
| |
High Throughput Biology Inc. is participating in the GAW16 workshop using its Pattern Examiner algorithm to detect multi-locus genetic association as well as gene interactions. The GAW16 data from the North American Rheumatoid Arthritis Consortium (NARAC) contain genotypes for 868 casesand 1194 controls on more than half a million SNP markers. The result of the analysis will be reported on the GAW16 Meeting in September, 2008. |

| High Throughput Biology Inc. released BioIDE 2.3 |
| April 1, 2008 |
| |
High Throughput Biology Inc. is proud to release a new version of BioIDE: v2.3. The new version added several significant features. For example, BioIDE now supports the Affy SNP Arry 6 data format, which include more than one million SNP and CNV markers. PedigreeView is a data visualization component that automatically draws family pedigree trees if the phenotype data contain family information. It not only draws family trees correctly for multi-generation complex families but also handles with ease situations such as consanguinous loops, multiple spouses, and multiple founding groups. Another useful feature for data export and publication is that a user can choose any markers or phenotypes to be displayed together with the pedigree tree. |
